There are actually three of these video slots from the provider Rival. And each one has its own “thing”. Since one fine day I discovered the full potential of the second part, of course I had to check the other two. This one is the last, third part of the series. Its main gimmick is a modified bonus round. Also, during the base game stacked wild symbols can appear.
This part of the slot seems to me the highest variance. This machine can, without shame, eat 100-200 credits and you won’t see any significant win. But if you get into the bonus game, miracles can start. Although a x5 of the bet here is also not uncommon.
The thing is when the bonus spins come, a wild symbol appears that covers the whole reel. There can’t be a so-called wild field here, but if symbols cover the three middle reels the win will be pretty decent. And if on the first reel there’s one of the top symbols, and on the last reel the same one, and all this lines up on a winning line, it can easily make well over x100 of the bet. My max win from such bonus spins was once $120 on a $0.30 bet per spin. That’s x400. And there were only 20 spins then. And there can be many more. My personal record is 60 free spins, albeit in another part, but the mechanics are the same. So the machine’s potential is huge.
By the way, besides free spins it also has intermediate bonus games. In them you can win from zero (that happened) to… I don’t even know how much. Usually that win is x20-x30 of the bet. But maybe that was my case. From my experience I’d say those are basically standard multipliers, since I’ve made not one or even two thousand spins on the slot. This intermediate bonus activates when special symbols land. Which, by the way, visually don’t differ much from the standard ones. Unlike the scatter symbols made as fish and very brightly contrasting against the fairly simple background of the machine.
The graphics and sound, of course, leave something to be desired, but even with long sessions they don’t annoy. Put it on autoplay and go. The machine is very good for meeting wagering requirements. At least that’s how it seemed to me and my experience points to that. You won’t get much thrill, but you’ll likely recoup the bonus with a high probability.
