I decided to try a cool slot, at first I did not even understand where I was going, it is a slot from Pragmatic – Lava Balls. The point of the slot is to combine plinko and a regular reel slot. Here the bonus costs 100x the bet, I recommend buying it – it does not cost an arm and a leg, and the game is pretty interesting mechanically here. The reels in the bonus can give you balls, a boosted x, retriggers, in short it is pretty cool, after all the spins run out the plinko game starts, and that is the whole appeal, because exactly where the ball rolls depends on the final bonus result. I will rate the slot from 1 to 10:

1. The design is ordinary, but I liked the bonus win – 5.5/10

2. The mechanics, pretty coolly done, I have not seen anything like this before – 9/10

On the downside, the slot has no functions, no top bonus features, but they are not really needed in this slot anyway, in my opinion this slot is only for a one-time play, for those who want to combine plinko and regular reels. I would not play this slot all the time, but if you want something new, then why not. I recommend trying this slot.

Slots are, of course, a fun thing, but you don’t always manage to find something that really hooks you. So I decided to try another new release – Lava Balls – after seeing this slot on streamers, and, let’s say, it didn’t impress.

First, the graphics. I get that retro style is in fashion now, but this feels really rough. Like the game was made in the early 2000s and someone just forgot to update it. Yes, there are fireballs and all that, but it lacks some kind of spark, brightness. Visually it’s not captivating.

Second, the gameplay. It’s kind of simple and straightforward, but also monotonous. You spin the reels, wait for matches, and it all feels kind of lifeless. The bonus games are vague, and winning anything significant in them is a big stroke of luck. I, of course, hoped for some interesting features, but alas. I even had to buy the bonus to try it, since they seem rare. And it didn’t pay off.

And third, the payout. I know it’s a casino and wins are a matter of chance, but here you lose especially often. You place small bets, but your balance disappears very quickly. Maybe I was just unlucky, of course, but it feels like the slot isn’t very generous.

All in all, Lava Balls is, in my opinion, a one-time slot. Tried it, watched it, and forgot about it. There are tons of other, more interesting and profitable options. So if you want to play something truly engaging, better look for something else.
I’ll give it a 4, and only because the slot is new.

The slot reminds me of Plinko and other games where balls fall from top to bottom – it’s the same system here, they fall down into pots with money (in the bonus) or into multipliers in the regular spins! You can also catch free spins without scatters if a ball lands in the right cell!

From personal experience what I can say – bonuses hit pretty often and it didn’t take me long to catch bonuses! however the bonuses are mostly around x50-100 of the bet on average.

The bonus has a pretty interesting mechanic, you need to catch balls (on the first scatter and on the fifth the amount) and at the end of the bonus they will fall! It usually shows a large number of balls – but it doesn’t collect them and only takes a few! That’s a huge drawback in the slot because constant buys really mask things a lot.

In the spins you’re unlikely to catch much, of course sometimes there are x1000 multipliers but line payouts are poor and seeing x1000 is very difficult.

So far the max I caught was x600 – but I think that’s far from the limit… but the frequency of bonuses is genuinely pleasing.
